The kid and adult bird watching starter pack and monthly subscription is a great way for the whole family to get involved in bird watching.The bird watching monthly subscription is a good way to get kids outside looking for birds. Get your kids this subscription to give them a break from iPads and screens.

You will learn about 12 new birds every month. Over the course of 1 year, you will be introduced to over 144 birds. Each bird has its own set of unique characteristics and a fascinating story. The Bird Bios include interesting information about each bird every month. Our Bird Bios have a short story about each bird and what is unique about them.

Each month you will also receive a new Bird Watching Map. These interactive maps include a goal to see and count 20 birds in a month. The maps also include fun adventures, hidden items for kids to look for, items for them to count and other activities. The maps also include a crossword puzzle and a maze. Kids will learn about birds and also be active in the backyard looking for birds!

    As homeschoolers, when we came across the Bird Watching Academy subscription, it was a no-brainer. We knew it would add some enrichment to our nature studies. What we didn’t expect, was that we would soon be plunged into many months of social distancing and limited activities. Keeping our bird count each month has been something that the whole family truly looks forward to every day. It has added so much in the way of simple joys, to an otherwise challenging year. We are so thankful for this program!
